About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Hospice at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is responsible for representing the branch in professional interactions with healthcare providers and institutions. This role focuses on promoting home health care and hospice services, implementing programs to enhance service quality, and conducting public education initiatives. The position requires a proactive approach to building relationships with referral sources and ensuring compliance with Medicare services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing meetings with physicians, discharge planners, and other applicable health professionals.
• Implement enriching programs and protocols to provide higher quality client services.
• Coordinate with physician offices and branches to obtain necessary signatures on orders and Medicare required addendums.
• Participate in community education functions, such as public speaking to civic/church groups, to provide education on home health and/or hospice services.
• Participate in in-service education and personnel training related to branch services and programs, quality assurance, and community resources.

Requirements

• Previous home health or hospice sales experience is preferred.
• Must have a college degree, or at least one year of sales or business experience, or be a licensed nurse.
• Ability to develop and support referral source relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable with making cold calls.
• Exceptional and consistent customer service skills.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales is preferred.
• RN State Licensure is preferred.
