Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager II, Commercial in the Charlotte, NC metro area. This position is pivotal in developing and nurturing relationships with the architectural, engineering, and specifier community to educate them about Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) products and their applications. The primary goal is to increase the number of specifications and subsequent sales within an assigned territory. The Area Sales Manager will participate in developing and executing sales plans within commercial sales channels and will be responsible for enhancing the competency and education of these channels. The essential functions of this role include performing direct and joint sales calls to establish relationships with local architects, engineers, and contractors, educating them on the application of CITY MULTI Variable Refrigerant Flow systems and other Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products. The Area Sales Manager will deliver educational presentations to various stakeholders, participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and trade shows, and maintain customer information and activities in the SalesForce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM). Additionally, the role involves managing the project pipeline, conducting occasional job site visits to support customers, and assisting the Regional Manager in gathering market and competitive intelligence. The position requires a willingness to travel up to 40% for various company meetings and training, both domestically and possibly internationally. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the company.
