About the position

The Area Sales Manager II at ElectrolitUSA is responsible for driving sales growth and establishing new business relationships within the assigned territory. This role involves collaborating with local distributors and wholesalers to effectively sell and merchandise the Electrolit brand, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility in retail locations. The successful candidate will also manage existing accounts, participate in promotional events, and work closely with sales representatives to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the brand portfolio to retailers in coordination with local distributors and wholesalers.
  • Join Sales & Merchandising reps and DSD reps for ride-along to sell, merchandize, train, relationship manage with and audit their performance on a regular basis.
  • Achieve optimal in-store merchandising space, full SKU-sets, POS placements and multiple points of distribution.
  • Ensure all equipment, racks, clings, posters, and other POS are current, clean, and presented in the finest manner.
  • Build a strong positive rapport with retail store owners, managers, and staff.
  • Establish new accounts in the assigned territory and monitor existing accounts, regularly communicating with primary contacts.
  • Work toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by the Business Development Manager.
  • Assist with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.
  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions and special events as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of experience in the beverage industry, specifically non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Direct Selling experience in the beverage industry.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisor or managerial role.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPGs).
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, Teams).
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel daily within territory up to 90% (must have reliable transportation).
  • Great sales, communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
