About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Indiana/Greater Cincinnati is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing existing accounts and acquiring new revenue-producing agents within the designated territory. This remote position requires local residency in the Indiana/Greater Cincinnati area and involves building strong relationships with agents while promoting safety and facilitating communication between agents and corporate.

Responsibilities

  • Bring on new revenue producing agents.
  • Call on existing accounts, grow the account, and take market share.
  • Call on new accounts and grow the accounts. Take market share.
  • Build and maintain agent relationships by promoting safety, being a liaison between agent and corporate, managing and maintaining agents, and working with all departments to assist agents with growing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years sales experience
  • Excellent business development/sales skills in multi-modal transportation/logistics
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Availability for heavy travel
  • A valid driver's license without restrictions is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4-year college degree
  • Two years related transportation sales experience
