About the position
You will be responsible for growing revenue within existing accounts in the Indiana/Greater Cincinnati territory as well as bringing on new revenue producing Landstar agents in the same region. While this is a remote position, you need to live locally in the territory.
Responsibilities
- Bring on new revenue producing agents.
- Call on existing accounts, grow the account, and take market share.
- Call on new accounts and grow the accounts. Take market share.
- Building and maintaining agent relationships by promoting safety, being a liaison between agent and corporate when necessary, managing and maintaining agents, and working with all departments to assist agents with growing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years sales experience
Nice-to-haves
- 4-year college degree
- Two years related transportation sales experience
