A significant aspect of the role involves selling the value proposition of Mitsubishi Electric systems, highlighting the benefits of their comprehensive range of whole home solutions. Participation in local professional groups, industry associations, distributor trade shows, and other events is crucial for networking and promoting Mitsubishi products. The Area Sales Manager will also administer and conduct sales and applications training, marketing programs, and annual reviews at both contractor and distributor levels. Additionally, the role requires assisting distributors with inventory reporting and job quoting as needed, developing distributor sales personnel to proficiently sell Mitsubishi products, and maintaining updated contractor information in Salesforce. The position demands a strategic approach to developing a Residential Market Strategy for the territory using market data, reporting monthly to the Regional Manager on market conditions and activities, and collaborating with Commercial BU counterparts to capitalize on sales opportunities across the ME US product line. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory for meetings and events.
