About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Medical/Aesthetic Lasers at Fotona is responsible for prospecting and developing new customers in the North Texas Territory. This role requires a motivated sales professional with experience in the aesthetic industry, particularly in capital equipment and medical devices. The position offers hands-on education with advanced laser technology and a competitive compensation package, including salary and commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and organizational skills, establishing trust among customers.
  • Manage high-volume cold calls to medical practices and med spas.
  • Identify decision-makers and evaluate the buying process.
  • Determine prospects' business needs and goals to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Actively seek out new customers through various channels including prospecting, trade shows, and meetings.
  • Continuously study Fotona products and the aesthetic/medical laser industry to remain knowledgeable.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Travel within the territory and attend trade shows, trainings, and other events as required.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Represent Fotona with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of outbound business-to-business sales experience in the Aesthetic industry preferred.
  • Experience in Aesthetic Industry, Capital Equipment, Durable Medical Equipment, and/or Medical Device sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop qualified appointments.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent phone, written, and in-person sales and communication skills.
  • Strong passion for prospecting.
  • Basic MS Office Suite and computer/internet skills for communications and research.
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
