About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Truck-Lite Co., LLC is responsible for driving sales growth of Truck-Lite, ECCO, and RIGID products through proactive engagement with assigned NAPA accounts. This role involves conducting sales training, participating in trade shows, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance sales strategies. The position requires a high level of independence and initiative, with a focus on building strong business relationships and effectively managing sales activities in the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and create sales of Truck-Lite, ECCO, and RIGID products through daily sales calls to assigned NAPA accounts.
  • Conduct sales training seminars, open houses, and participate in NAPA trade shows.
  • Coordinate sales activities with NAPA Independent Store Ownerships and other sales managers.
  • Report competitive market information to Truck-Lite and respond with accurate market data.
  • Identify and complete sales and marketing tasks for product line growth in the territory.
  • Communicate weekly with the Sales Director and complete all reporting and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Represent Truck-Lite professionally while increasing sales growth and profitability.
  • Control expenses and maintain company assets in working condition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences preferred, or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of selling experience in a related market or outside sales.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Experience analyzing sales data to create individualized sales plans.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
  • Experience using CRM software for customer contact management.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent and motivated to seek new sales opportunities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications.
