About the position

The Area Sales Manager for the New England Territory at Landstar Transportation Logistics is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing existing accounts and acquiring new revenue-producing agents. This remote position requires local residency in the New England area and focuses on building strong relationships with agents while promoting safety and collaboration with corporate departments.

Responsibilities

  • Bring on new revenue producing agents.
  • Call on existing accounts to grow revenue and take market share.
  • Call on new accounts to establish and grow relationships.
  • Build and maintain agent relationships by promoting safety and acting as a liaison between agents and corporate.
  • Manage and maintain agents while assisting them in their growth.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of sales experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4-year college degree.
  • Two years of related transportation sales experience.
