About the position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the assigned region in the Oil and Gas sector. This role focuses on delivering quality service, building strong relationships with customers, and enhancing loyalty, which ultimately leads to increased revenue and profitability for the company. The position involves collaboration with global teams and project sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful completion of sales projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales-related activities within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with global Oil and Gas teams on project sales efforts.
  • Identify and execute marketing and business development activities to position products effectively.
  • Map accounts to understand the buying decision process and align with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas sales, preferably in valve automation.
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma is an asset.
  • Strong existing business relations with customers at a senior management level.
  • Familiarity with sales coordination techniques for capital projects and resellers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
