About the position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the assigned region, focusing on building customer relationships and loyalty to drive revenue and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of the Oil and Gas sector, particularly in the Marcellus Basin, and involves collaboration with global teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales-related activities within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with global Oil and Gas teams to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
  • Identify and execute high-level marketing and business development activities for Rotork products and services.
  • Map accounts to understand the buying decision process and align with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas sales, preferably in valve automation.
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma is an asset.
  • Strong existing business relations with customers at a senior management level in target industries.
  • Familiarity with sales coordination techniques for capital projects and resellers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
