About the position

The Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Representative role at Engage Building Products involves driving sales growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by building relationships with local home builders, architects, general contractors, developers, installers, and dealers. The position requires a proactive and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about sales and eager to succeed in a competitive market. The representative will focus on generating new business and converting the target audience to the company's innovative aluminum trim systems and products.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and grow new business in the Texas territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local home builders, architects, general contractors, developers, installers, and dealers.
  • Provide solutions to the needs of current and future construction projects.
  • Handle objections and close business effectively.
  • Understand market development and accelerate products up the adoption curve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred).
  • 3 years of outside sales experience required.
  • Residency in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area and willingness to travel throughout the state.
  • Experience with market development concepts such as adoption lifecycle and STP (segmenting/targeting/positioning).
  • Business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent presentation skills before both small and large groups.
