About the position

The Area Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest at Landstar is responsible for driving revenue growth within existing accounts and acquiring new revenue-producing agents in the region. This remote position requires local residency in the Pacific Northwest and involves significant relationship management and business development within the transportation and logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Bring on new revenue producing agents.
• Call on existing accounts to grow the account and take market share.
• Call on new accounts to grow the accounts and take market share.
• Build and maintain agent relationships by promoting safety and being a liaison between agents and corporate.
• Manage and maintain agents while working with all departments to assist agents with growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of B2B sales experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 4-year college degree.
• Two years related transportation sales experience.
• One year of Account Management experience.
• One year of Enterprise Sales experience.
