About the position

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) at Green House is responsible for driving brand growth and building impactful relationships within the beverage industry, specifically focusing on premium sparkling beverages. This role involves executing sales strategies across key retailer partners, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring product visibility and brand representation in large format stores. The ASM will work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve significant brand velocity and secure new distribution points, while also providing tailored support to retailers to enhance product sell-through.

Responsibilities

  • Local & Key Account Execution: Focus on large format stores to accelerate brand velocity by 200% across 65 key accounts.
  • Secure new distribution points and ensure product visibility through branded POS and cold-space merchandising.
  • Gain new and increase existing brand facings, ensuring superior representation versus competitors.
  • Satisfy all merchandising standards within local & key accounts, including coupon application and display building.
  • Implement incentive programs in partnership with the Client team to boost retailer participation and brand affinity.
  • Account Relationship Management: Develop and execute effective sales strategies based on local market insights.
  • Respond to retailer inquiries and provide tailored sales strategies to ensure smooth operations and increased product sell-through.
  • Monitor inventory levels and address replenishment needs to prevent out-of-stocks.
  • Distributor Engagement: Manage wholesaler/distributor incentive programming and participate in General Sales Meetings.
  • Schedule and participate in market visits and secure communication with distribution stakeholders.
  • Communication & Reporting: Execute sales objectives with regular tracking and progress reports, utilizing Greenhouse CRM tools for account calls and KPI activity.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to drive/travel through the designated market area.
  • Minimum 4 years of CPG/beverage products sales experience or similar account service within the off-premise channel required.
  • Distributor management experience required.
  • Willingness to work unconventional hours to meet outlet/bottler needs (early mornings and weekends) required.
  • Strong customer service, brand marketing, and negotiation skills required.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused mentality with a collaborative attitude required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation/public speaking skills required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of extended sales and brand teams required.
  • Strong Business Acumen, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
