Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the St. Louis, MO region. This role is pivotal in managing customer programs and ensuring that the needs of our clients are met with urgency and efficiency. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, preparing, and anticipating customer needs, while also managing customer expectations regarding the sales and services provided. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, ensuring that all market and customer strategies are effectively executed. The successful candidate will partner with National Account Managers, Category Managers, and the Marketing team to communicate progress on projects and implement national retail initiatives within the territory. This role also includes direct supervision of the field sales and service team, overseeing the quality of work, timeliness, and completion of daily assignments. The Area Sales Manager will be accountable for meeting and exceeding team and customer service performance expectations, as well as approving overtime, vacation, and expense reimbursements for team members. This position involves daily travel to and from company and customer locations, with overnight travel expected to be up to 50%. The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that values growth, development, and internal promotion within the organization.
