About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Forward is responsible for leading the in-person Membership Advisor team, focusing on educating prospective members about the benefits of accessible, preventative healthcare. This role involves managing the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting new leads to closing deals, while creating a premier member experience. The position requires a highly motivated self-starter who can adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire onsite lead journey from start to finish.
  • Lead product demos and provide prospective members with an immersive experience of Forward's services.
  • Engage with prospective members as they walk by the site, promoting Forward's mission.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, demonstrating versatility in tasks.
  • Explore and engage with additional sales channels upon meeting initial sales targets.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Consulting, Startup, or other growth-driven business roles.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on innovative goal achievement.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong competitive drive and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop rapport and establish relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through on tasks.
