About the position

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance across the Americas for a leading international commercial vehicle solutions provider. This role focuses on achieving business objectives related to volume, market share, and profitability while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining brand reputation. The position requires commercial leadership and the development of strong relationships with partners, alongside the implementation of effective sales, product, and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance to achieve business objectives in terms of volume, market share, mix, and profitability.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
  • Provide commercial leadership and develop excellent relationships with partners.
  • Develop and implement sales, product, and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor sales department performance against targets.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in sales/commercial within the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Strong vehicle sales background, including knowledge of sales, spare parts, service, retail development, and marketing in the trucks/automotive industry.
  • Understanding of Latin America trucks/automotive businesses.
  • Experience in sales planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Technical understanding of commercial vehicle products, their systems, and applications.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
