About the position

As a member of the Rentokil family of companies, the global leader in Pest Control and other services across more than 90 countries, this position is responsible for enhancing the productivity of the assigned group of sales colleagues. The role involves implementing, coordinating, and presenting the new hire training and development program, while also providing mentoring and coaching to both new and existing sales colleagues. The successful candidate will partner with the field leadership team to train and coach associates, ensuring they maximize their performance. Key performance indicators for this role include Customer NPS, revenue growth, cost control, customer retention, and colleague retention and engagement. The principal duties and responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, managing, and engaging a team of frontline sales colleagues in the designated area. The role requires supporting collaboration between Sales and Operations within the territory, leading weekly meetings to monitor performance, and focusing on skill development. The candidate will also provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory and facilitate regular one-on-one debriefs with the team to enhance communication and identify training needs. Additionally, the position involves monitoring team performance against activity standards and revenue objectives, ensuring that the team meets or exceeds sales targets, and serving as a steward of the RentokilTerminix business model. The role demands a strong example of personal character, commitment, organization, and selling skills. The candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing job-related items for new hires, working closely with them to identify opportunities for improvement, and communicating any training needs to leadership. The position requires a hands-on approach, as the candidate will work in the field with sales colleagues daily, ensuring adherence to company sales practices and maintaining the quality of sales materials.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, train, manage & engage team of frontline sales colleagues in designated area
  • Support collaboration between Sales and Operations within territory
  • Lead weekly meetings with Team to monitor performance and skill development
  • Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly one-on-one debriefs with the team
  • Ensure team meets or exceeds all activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance
  • Monitor progress against revenue objectives; jointly accountable with Operations for APITDA realization
  • Serve as steward of the RentokilTerminix business model
  • Monitor, coach and develop team to provide effective growth and development
  • Plan, organize and order any job-related items for new hires
  • Work with new hires to evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in the Field
  • Communicate to leader any team training needs for continuous improvement
  • Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching and enforcing company sales practices
  • Work in the field with sales colleagues daily and maintain minimum sales activity requirements
  • Monitor and ensure proper use of sales materials and inventory

Requirements

  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data
  • Ability to acquire licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local agencies
  • At least one (1) year of Rentokil Terminix experience in designated field with RTX
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Maintain valid driver's license
