About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Zero Gravity is responsible for achieving regional financial objectives by driving results through the support, coaching, and development of Independent Sales Representatives. This role focuses on implementing sales strategies, understanding market dynamics, and collaborating with health systems to drive growth in strategic Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, check and adjust a sales plan for a defined Zero Gravity region in support of national objectives.
• Develop a thorough understanding of business goals, strategies, operating principles, and market knowledge.
• Drive growth in strategic IDNs through collaboration with the Health Systems Team.
• Provide alignment, training, and coaching to Independent Reps in assigned territories through various methods including co-travel and sales meetings.
• Lead regional sales meetings to align on strategy and product training.
• Interview, hire/contract, and communicate goals to potential Independent Sales Reps.
• Review, coach, and enhance performance of Independent Sales Reps in the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Medical Device experience.
• 2+ years of proven leadership success.
• Demonstrate effective leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
