About the position

CEVA Logistics is seeking a strategic and tactical leader to oversee sales initiatives across both domestic and international markets. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while embodying the guiding principles and core values of CEVA Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of sales initiatives, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring that all processes align with the company's strategic sales plan. In this position, you will participate in the development and implementation of detailed market analyses, focusing on market potential, pricing strategies, competitive strengths, and weaknesses. You will maintain performance measures to monitor market activity and report findings to management, supporting the overall sales strategy. Additionally, you will conduct economic and feasibility studies for various projects, preparing business proposal recommendations for senior management that align with corporate objectives. Your leadership will extend to managing the sales incentive and commission plans, ensuring they are administered correctly. You will also oversee policies related to sales staffing, recruitment, succession planning, and training processes. A key aspect of your role will be to provide direction for the professional development of sales staff, ensuring that training and project requirements are met. You will personally coach, train, and mentor your direct reports, offering career development opportunities through various training and quality management activities. Conducting annual performance reviews for all department staff will also be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive the entire life cycle of sales initiatives from 'Lead to Close'.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of market potential analysis, pricing strategies, and competitive assessments.
  • Maintain measures to monitor market performance and report findings to management.
  • Conduct economic and feasibility studies for projects and prepare business proposal recommendations for senior management.
  • Manage and enforce policies for the sales incentive and commission plan.
  • Direct and enforce policies for sales staffing, hiring, recruitment, succession planning, and training processes.
  • Provide direction for the professional development and productivity of sales staff members.
  • Coach, train, and mentor direct reports, providing career development opportunities.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within the department.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic and tactical leadership within sales.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis and competitive strategy development.
  • Experience in managing sales performance policies and incentive plans.
  • Ability to conduct economic and feasibility studies for business proposals.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills for professional development of staff.
