About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Toll Brothers is responsible for leading and managing the sales team in Folsom, California, focusing on achieving sales and revenue goals. The Area Sales Manager serves as a liaison between the sales team and division management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coach community Sales Consultants on local engagement plans to generate qualified traffic to their communities.
  • Identify community sales challenges and work with Sales and Project Management for resolution.
  • Serve as the voice of sales and customers to division management.
  • Perform competitive analysis and make recommendations to optimize sales results.
  • Provide input on floorplans and model homes for new community start-up.
  • Advise on divisional sales and marketing plans.
  • Champion compensation initiatives including program design and sales contests.
  • Support the Online Sales program and improve partnerships among sales team members.
  • Mentor, coach, inspire, and provide feedback to sales team members.
  • Identify, recruit, and hire future sales team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external Sales Professionals for future staffing needs.
  • Reinforce corporate expectations for performance and behaviors.
  • Ensure technology use and adoption, including Salesforce.
  • Serve effectively on HOA boards as needed.
  • Implement directives from both National and Local levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of home sales experience
  • 2+ years of experience in managing, coaching, or mentoring others
  • Experience with CRM software

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Salesforce experience desired but not required
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Knowledge of new home construction
