About the position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of clinical and dialysis and cardiovascular devices within the Tri-State Area. This role involves identifying leads, building customer relationships, and closing sales while collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clinical and dialysis products to existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop business plans and schedules, identifying and prioritizing sales targets.
  • Actively engage with clients to answer questions, provide product information, and drive sales.
  • Follow up on new leads from events, tradeshows, and referrals.
  • Maintain current product knowledge and apply technical sales skills in all client interactions.
  • Ensure continuous customer support and manage post-sale relationships to grow accounts.
  • Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand awareness.
  • Accurately track sales activities and results in the CRM system, reporting to the Sales Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in cardiovascular/dialysis sales experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge
  • Located within, and comfortable with regular travel, within the Tri-State Area.
  • OR (operating room) experience is essential
