About the position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities to increase hotel occupancy and revenue for HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof. This role involves building and managing client relationships, conducting sales calls, and developing strategic sales plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct sales activities related to selling guest rooms to build hotel occupancy and revenue.
• Demonstrate initiatives in finding new business and new contracts within existing accounts resulting in revenue.
• Build and manage relations with clients and designated accounts.
• Lead on-site inspections by customers and perform outside sales calls to develop leads.
• Analyze sales statistics with leadership to determine sales potential, inventory requirements, and sales goals.
• Develop a sales plan that addresses new business development, product management from sales and marketing perspectives, and strategic sales alliances.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably 1 year experience in extended stay hotel sales.
• Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or Sales and Marketing Management preferred.
• Experience at successfully increasing revenues and delivering results.
• Ability to operate independently, with minimal direction and exceptional support.
• Valid Driver's license required to travel within assigned area.
