About the position

The Area Sales Manager will oversee the Workflow process and performance of used car inventory for multiple dealerships, ensuring efficient and timely management of vehicles through various vendors. This role involves marketing Alloy Wheel Repair Services to local car dealerships and body shops, requiring strong decision-making skills to maximize quality outcomes while minimizing expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize weekly site visits, dealership meetings, and vendor updates.
  • Process invoices for each dealership and provide weekly projections of costs and outcomes.
  • Understand and achieve service agreement goals with dealerships and vendors.
  • Utilize the Workflow process effectively and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage dealership Workflow sites in collaboration with inventory managers.
  • Maximize financial performance and profitability of each dealership while delivering quality cars for sale.
  • Drive business metrics and performance measurements for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Supervise each step of the Workflow process at dealership sites or through the Workflow system.
  • Maintain effective multi-site management of up to 10 dealerships.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and sound decision-making in challenging situations.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery throughout the Workflow process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealerships, vendors, and staff members.
  • Respond urgently to dealer and vendor communication needs.
  • Assess new vendors and manage their onboarding and integration into the dealership.
  • Practice safety and security precautions within the dealership and with vendors.
  • Review the Workflow status of all vehicles consistently.
  • Assess and approve all work and repairs on vehicles before sale.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a technical automotive program.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience as a Supervisor or Manager in auto body repair, vendor repair, or dealership.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive a car, including manual transmission.
