The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sales processes are adhered to according to Rausch Coleman policies. This position involves working closely with Sales Professionals to ensure that model and spec homes are ready for showing and that communities are well-maintained at all times. The Area Sales Manager will report directly to the Division Sales Manager and will be responsible for maintaining territorial sales quotas by implementing strategies assigned by the Division Sales Manager and Division President. This role also includes training, developing, and holding Sales Professionals accountable to high standards of performance. In addition to overseeing sales processes, the Area Sales Manager will interact with other division office personnel and staff, review the prospects of each sales professional weekly, and ensure the accuracy of information on various platforms such as the RC Website, Zillow, and MLS. The Area Sales Manager is expected to maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week, be available during all model open hours, and manage territory marketing, closings, signage, events, and other managerial functions required for community growth. This position also requires attending Realtor Presentations and ensuring that all communities within the territory are properly staffed during open hours.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Professionals to ensure adherence to sales processes according to company policies.
  • Ensure model and spec homes are ready for showing and communities are well maintained.
  • Maintain territorial sales quotas by implementing strategies assigned by the Division Sales Manager and Division President.
  • Implement training, development, and accountability standards alongside the Division Sales Manager.
  • Interact with other division office personnel and staff as required.
  • Review prospects of each sales professional weekly and the status of each prospect regarding the RC Flywheel.
  • Review Next CRM usage, train and follow up as needed.
  • Review each model home weekly during community meetings.
  • Ensure accuracy of information on the RC Website, Zillow, and MLS with sales professionals.
  • Attend and assist in interviewing, hiring, and training top qualified talent within the territory.
  • Aid with the onboarding of new Sales Professionals.
  • Attend all required Division Meetings.
  • Maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week and be available during all model open hours.
  • Responsible for territory marketing, closings, signage, events, and other managerial functions required for community growth.
  • Deliver and execute all new marketing rollouts.
  • Attend a minimum of 2 Realtor Presentations per month within the territory.
  • Ensure all communities within the territory are properly staffed and fully covered during all open hours of operation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • At least two years of New Home Sales Management Experience.
  • Experience as a successful New Home Sales Professional.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize.
  • Must be a servant leader.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sound knowledge of MLS, Websites, Sales Management software.
  • Knowledge of IHMS, Translator.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds sales and personal goals.
