About the position

The Area Sales Manager at High Country Beverage is responsible for achieving annual sales and distribution goals within their territory. This role involves motivating, training, and developing a team of sales representatives to excel in the beverage industry, while also maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed company sales and distribution targets and goals
  • Coach, develop and train your sales team to be the best in the industry
  • Develop and maintain great relationships with customers in your assigned territory
  • Ensure our quality standards are maintained in assigned territory
  • Conduct product tastings and promotions in top accounts to promote our brands
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Attend community events to represent our company
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in beverage sales management or related sales management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of the beer industry and market trends
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
