About the position

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading distribution efforts for New Brew's beverage products in the Houston market. This role involves building relationships with store buyers, managing accounts, and increasing brand awareness while driving sales across various channels. The position offers opportunities for growth as the company scales its distribution efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with buyers at store level.
  • Manage accounts and gain additional placements within stores, including secondary points of purchase and cooler placement.
  • Plan and prioritize weekly strategies to optimize field time, hitting roughly 20 accounts daily.
  • Close voids, increase shelf presence, merchandising, and take reorders from store managers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with bodega stores to promote and sell beverage products.
  • Utilize existing contacts in the bodega retail space to expand market presence.
  • Ensure execution of new distribution launches, promotions, and secondary placements.
  • Perform effective merchandising in-store with POS materials.
  • Provide weekly recaps and updates from the field.
  • Perform demos as needed to support field events and new store openings.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly in the beverage industry.
  • Great sales, communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A reliable vehicle (ideally an SUV or van) with valid insurance.
  • Competitive, highly motivated, and self-driven.
