CEVA Logistics is seeking a strategic and tactical leader to oversee and drive the entire life cycle of sales initiatives from "Lead to Close". This role is pivotal in both domestic and international markets within the region of responsibility. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures while modeling and acting in accordance with CEVA's guiding principles and core values. This position is not just about managing sales; it involves participating in the development and implementation of sophisticated and detailed analyses of market potential, pricing, competitive strengths, diverse products, and market weaknesses. The role requires maintaining measures to monitor market performance and activity, which will be reported to management in support of the company's strategic sales plan. Additionally, the candidate will undertake and manage sound economic and feasibility studies for projects, preparing business proposal recommendations for senior management that are synergistic to and supportive of the company's corporate and business unit strategies. A key responsibility will be to provide direction and management to ensure that policies for the sales incentive and commission plan are administered correctly. The candidate will also manage, direct, and enforce the sales performance policy, as well as policies for sales staffing, hiring, recruitment, succession planning, and training processes. The role includes providing direction for the professional development and productivity of sales staff members, ensuring that proper goals, training, professional development, and project requirements are met. The candidate will personally coach, train, and mentor direct reports, providing career development opportunities through training and quality management activities. Conducting annual performance reviews for all staff within the department is also a critical aspect of this role.
