From Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to procurement, PTSolutions is a full-service provider that supports our customers every step of the way. In the role of Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and productivity of your assigned sales team across the Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and Phoenix, AZ markets. This position requires close collaboration with the Regional Manager to develop effective sales strategies and goals, while also coordinating local sales efforts with corporate sales initiatives. You will lead the sales functions of the assigned region, monitor team productivity against company goals, and drive your team to achieve sales targets. Additionally, you will identify new market opportunities for your sales team, provide performance reports to the management team, and mentor associates in new sales techniques. This role is essential in ensuring that our sales team is equipped to meet the challenges of the market and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum of 5 years of experience leading a sales team.
  • Proven track record of driving teams to sales targets and goals.
  • Experience in distribution industry preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
