The position will primarily require building and growing new customers to drive accelerated growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams, demand generation, forecasting, and sales execution by delivering sales commitments month on month as per the organization's guidelines, and ensuring account receivables are met as per due dates and on-time issue resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Handling end-to-end sales and new business development in the assigned region from demand generation to fulfillment of customer orders by effective forecasting, material planning, order collection, and execution, meeting sales revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships by demonstrating a customer-first approach, understanding customer priorities and applications, and coordinating and leading negotiations for successful closure.
  • Driving specifications with end customers and OEMs for advanced materials division products for various markets.
  • Engage with PSUs and government institutions to drive specifications and handle the tender processes.
  • Pipeline management using Salesforce.com (SFDC/CRM operational knowledge is important): Account management, lead and opportunity management, revenue scheduling, activity management, managing reports, key account plan and sales plan preparation and execution.
  • Drive industry engagement, identify forums and communities of KOL/segment partners/designers/licensors, and represent 3M at these forums.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, particularly in advanced materials or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and key account management principles.
  • Experience with government business and tender processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.

  • Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or chemical processing industries.
  • Knowledge of advanced materials and their applications in various markets.
