About the position

Körber Pharma Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Fargo, ND. This full-time position offers a competitive salary starting from $75,000 per year. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering relationships with customers in the pharmaceutical sector. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing sales proposals for technical products and services, as well as layout or plan views for customer proposals. You will be expected to travel to customer sites for kick-off meetings, sales calls, and to provide technical support. Presenting to customers, OEMs, users, and suppliers will be a key part of your role, as will assisting in the selection of third-party equipment and component suppliers. In addition to these responsibilities, you will work closely with third-party suppliers to specify equipment and develop technical presentations and workshops. Representing the company at trade shows and expos in a professional manner is essential, as is maintaining long-term relationships with clients. You will be tasked with closing deals and finalizing contracts while meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals. Open and constructive communication will be vital as you gather, analyze, and share customer technical information and feedback. You will also assist in identifying future customer needs to support growth in company sales revenue and provide technical input to marketing. Collaboration with other members of the sales, service, and marketing teams will be necessary to achieve common goals, and you will work with engineering to develop conceptual designs.

Responsibilities

  • Review sales proposals for customers on technical products and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a relevant manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of ProE and AutoCAD
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills and ability to listen to customers
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Knowledge of marketing and market planning
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the year
