About the position

As a member of the Rentokil family of companies, the global leader in Pest Control and other services across more than 90 countries, this position is responsible for enhancing the productivity of a designated group of sales colleagues. The role involves implementing, coordinating, and presenting the new hire training and development program, while also providing mentoring and coaching to both new and existing sales colleagues. The individual will partner with the field leadership team to train and coach associates, ensuring they maximize their performance in the field. Key performance indicators for this role include customer NPS, revenue growth, cost control, customer retention, and colleague retention and engagement. The responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, managing, and engaging a team of frontline sales colleagues within a designated area. The position requires supporting collaboration between Sales and Operations, leading weekly meetings to monitor performance, and providing ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory. The individual will facilitate regular one-on-one debriefs with team members to enhance communication, understand training needs, and provide insights for improving sales performance. They will also ensure that the team meets or exceeds all activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance, while setting a strong example in personal character, commitment, organization, and selling skills. Monitoring progress against revenue objectives and serving as a steward of the RentokilTerminix business model are also critical aspects of this role. The position requires working closely with new hires to identify opportunities for improvement and providing constructive feedback to enhance their performance in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, train, manage & engage team of frontline sales colleagues in designated area
  • Support collaboration between Sales and Operations within territory
  • Lead weekly meetings with Team to monitor performance and skill development
  • Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly one-on-one debriefs with the team
  • Ensure team meets or exceeds all activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance
  • Monitor progress against revenue objectives; jointly accountable with Operations for APITDA realization
  • Serve as steward of the RentokilTerminix business model
  • Monitor and ensure effective growth and development of the team
  • Work with new hires to evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in the Field
  • Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching and enforcing company sales practices
  • Work in the field with sales colleagues daily and maintain minimum sales activity requirements
  • Monitor and ensure proper use of sales materials and inventory

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of Rentokil Terminix experience in designated field with RTX
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Maintain valid driver's license
  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data
  • Ability to acquire licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local agencies
