This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth in the EMEA and Emerging Asian Markets, which encompass a diverse range of regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, India, and China. The successful candidate will be responsible for not only meeting but exceeding sales goals through strategic planning and execution. In this role, you will be tasked with allocating budgets effectively and planning for market expansion while improving market share. Building new distribution partnerships and enhancing existing channels will be crucial to increasing market access. You will also establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish their sales targets. This requires a keen understanding of the market dynamics and the ability to adapt strategies in response to changing conditions. As a leader, you will develop the necessary Regional Sales Management organization structure, ensuring that the right caliber of staffing is in place and that appropriate training is provided to meet all job requirements. Analyzing sales data to accurately forecast future sales and forming adaptive sales plans will be essential in navigating the constant shifts in the marketplace. You will need to foresee challenges and mitigate them effectively to grow volumes and profitability, while also understanding the competitive landscape to maintain and gain market share. Your role will also involve providing strategic inputs and competitive insights to maximize consumer touchpoints. You will scan the environment to identify valuable emerging markets and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners, enabling them to maximize volumes. Comprehending channel dynamics and ensuring the success of trade marketing events will be key components of your responsibilities. Excellent communication skills are essential for this position, as you will be required to influence and develop people effectively.
