About the position

ARAC Roof It Forward is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the rapidly growing roofing and insurance restoration industry. This position is crucial as we expand our operations in the metro Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will embody a 'Field Dog' leadership style, focusing on generating new customers and driving sales through effective team management and strategic planning. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent, fostering a competitive and energetic work environment, and providing ongoing training and coaching to the sales team. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying target areas for canvassing and executing a daily game plan to maximize outreach and sales opportunities. In this position, you will hold weekly meetings and one-on-ones with your team to track performance and activity, utilizing Salesforce.com to manage the sales pipeline effectively. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure a cohesive approach to sales strategy and execution. The successful candidate will have a strong ethical foundation, prioritizing customer satisfaction and integrity in all dealings. With a minimum of 3-5 years of sales leadership experience, particularly in roofing or related fields, you will bring a wealth of knowledge in door-to-door canvassing, networking, and lead generation. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, coupled with excellent communication skills, will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively recruit and hire top sales talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Provide training and ongoing coaching to ensure team members meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Demonstrate a 'Lead from the Front' leadership mentality by actively participating in sales activities.
  • Plan and execute the Roof It Forward sales strategy, identifying target areas for canvassing.
  • Hold weekly meetings and one-on-ones with team members to track performance and provide feedback.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to co-manage the team's pipeline and apply strategies based on data observations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in roofing or related industries.
  • Strong ethics and integrity with a commitment to customer-first principles.
  • Experience in door-to-door canvassing and lead generation techniques.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and achieving President's Club results.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment with flexibility to work at the main office as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products and Salesforce.com.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the roofing industry is strongly preferred.
  • A 4-year college degree (BS/BA) is a plus.
  • Expertise in climbing and evaluating roofs.
