About the position

The Area Sales Manager will be a crucial member of the sales team at a global manufacturer of medical and aesthetic laser devices. This role is focused on leading sales efforts in a designated area, with the goal of increasing market share, revenue, and profitability across various product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, demonstrating a strong ability to close deals and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies that meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Manage client relationships by providing customer service and maintaining client loyalty.
• Prepare and present sales pitches to customers, identifying their needs and recommending the best products and services.
• Perform cold calls and visits to potential and existing customers to promote products.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services offered and effectively communicate them to customers.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive pricing and products.
• Continually monitor customer feedback and market trends.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers at target companies and close sales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field.
• Experience selling medical devices, surgical devices, laser, cosmetic, or aesthetic products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain coachable.
• Exhibit a high level of initiative and ambition.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
