About the position

Area Sales Manager Client Job Description We are a global manufacturer and provider of medical and aesthetic laser devices. Our North American presence has shown incredible growth over the last 5 years and we are looking to add to that growth by expanding our sales team. Our next Area Sales Manager will play a key role within the sales team, responsible for leading the sales efforts in the assigned area. They will plan, coordinate, and execute sales activities to increase market share, revenue, and profitability across multiple product lines. This person should have a hunter mentality and be able to demonstrate their ability to close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Manage client relationships by providing customer service and maintaining client loyalty
  • Prepare and present sales pitches to customers, identify customer needs, and recommend the best products and services
  • Perform cold calls and visits to potential and existing customers to promote the products
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services offered and be able to effectively communicate them to customers
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive pricing and products
  • Continually monitor customer feedback and market trends
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers at target companies and close sales

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Experience selling medical devices, surgical devices, laser, cosmetic, or aesthetic products
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain coachable
  • Exhibit a high level of initiative and ambition
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
