About the position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within a designated region, focusing on building customer relationships and loyalty to drive revenue and profitability for the company. This role requires a deep understanding of the engineered product sales landscape, particularly within the Permian Basin Energy sector, and emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service. The position involves collaboration with global Oil and Gas teams and participation in project sales to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales activities within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with global Oil and Gas teams on project sales efforts.
  • Identify and execute high-level marketing and business development activities for Rotork products and services.
  • Map accounts to understand the core of the buying decision and align with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas sales, preferably in valve automation.
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma is an asset.
  • Strong existing business relations with customers at a senior management level in target industries.
  • Familiarity with sales coordination techniques for capital projects, resellers, and end-users.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
