About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Eurofins Scientific is responsible for developing and executing a territory business plan to promote and sell the Diatherix Eurofins product line. This role focuses on meeting sales targets, identifying new client opportunities, and managing territory effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with quality policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a territory business plan.
  • Sells utilizing the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach.
  • Educates customers on the value of Diatherix Eurofins products and services.
  • Demonstrates ROI and value-added propositions to customers.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking.
  • Monitors and evaluates competitive services and pricing.
  • Delivers coherent oral and written communications.
  • Works with marketing and sales teams to implement sales and marketing plans.
  • Provides prompt resolutions to customer problems or concerns.
  • Takes ownership of personal development and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in biological sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) with strong quantitative skills.
  • 5 to 8 years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare, diagnostic, or medical sales.
  • Experience selling molecular diagnostics in the outpatient physician market is a plus.
  • Success calling on Pediatricians, GI, Family Practice, and Primary Care preferred.
  • Business to Business sales experience involving cold calling for new business is preferred.
  • Knowledge related to PCR, Infection prevention and control, and antimicrobials is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
