About the position

Join Laundrylux as an Area Sales Manager, where you will play a crucial role in developing and managing new and existing accounts for Wascomat and Electrolux professional vended laundry equipment. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth within the vended commercial laundry space. This position is not just about meeting sales targets; it’s about building lasting relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. In this role, you will generate and qualify leads through door-to-door sales visits, schedule sales appointments, and engage in proactive outreach and market blitzes. You will promote our products and services to both new and existing customers, performing cost-benefit and needs analyses to tailor solutions that meet their specific requirements. Closing sales will require excellent customer service and salesmanship, as well as the development of effective strategies for closing deals. You will be responsible for tracking your sales pipeline, prioritizing client questions and concerns, and sourcing client referrals to enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be expected to meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals, participate in industry trade shows and events, and conduct site surveys as needed. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with the potential for bonuses and commissions that can bring your total earnings to over $100,000. Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads via door-to-door sales visits with customers.
  • Schedule sales appointments and track activities.
  • Engage in proactive outreach and market blitzes.
  • Promote products/services to new and existing customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for new and existing customers.
  • Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship.
  • Develop strategies for effective sales closing and track sales pipeline.
  • Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction.
  • Source and develop client referrals.
  • Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales, providing biweekly updates via our CRM.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales goals.
  • Participate as needed in industry trade shows and events.
  • Conduct site surveys as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • Success in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field.
