About the position

The Sales Manager at Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is responsible for developing and maintaining an account base to achieve hotel revenue goals. This role involves implementing a sales action plan, responding to client inquiries, and collaborating with hotel departments to enhance sales performance. The Sales Manager will also be expected to provide regular reports and maintain a professional representation of the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an account base to achieve hotel revenue goals.
  • Implement a sales action plan for designated market segments.
  • Achieve annual sales goals as designated by the Director of Sales.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and correspondence from clients and prospects.
  • Execute sales calls and trips as designated by the Director of Sales.
  • Develop working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas.
  • Follow up on all assigned sales leads.
  • Maintain knowledge of local and national competitive hotels and marketing strategies.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions.
  • Maintain efficient processing of paperwork, files, and reports.
