About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Gulf Distributing Holdings Company is responsible for overseeing and enhancing sales, merchandising, and delivery activities across assigned accounts. This role involves direct engagement with sales teams and key accounts to promote company products and ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sales of company products through personal selling efforts and regular contacts with accounts.
  • Direct and monitor Salespersons regarding marketing plan goals, sales, new placements, distribution, rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, and promotions.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing incentive programs to improve sales.
  • Implement necessary route realignments to enhance customer service.
  • Make sales calls on key accounts to maintain strong relationships with owners and managers.
  • Conduct Power Coaching rides to train the team on their assigned duties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage others efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
