As the Area Sales Manager for GDI, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitable sales growth within a designated territory. This position is not just about managing sales; it involves actively engaging in the sales process, training new and existing sales staff, and ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the necessary resources to succeed. You will be responsible for promoting the growth of Patio Enclosures sunrooms and Stanek window products across various markets, which requires a deep understanding of the products and the ability to convey their value to potential customers. In this in-field role, you will be expected to conduct in-field ride-alongs with sales representatives, providing hands-on training and coaching to enhance their selling skills. Your leadership will be crucial in identifying both successes and areas for improvement within the sales organization. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to establish effective sales processes that cultivate high-performance sales representatives at each location within your area. This includes supporting the hiring and training of new sales personnel to build a robust sales force capable of meeting the company's growth objectives. Your responsibilities will also encompass monitoring the sales team's performance, preparing action plans to address any deficiencies, and providing timely feedback to the RSM regarding individual and branch sales performance. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and ethical standards, ensuring that these are communicated effectively within your team.
