About the position

As a Area Sales Manager with Hoffman Hydronics, you will direct and support a team of sales engineers to ensure peak performance. You will design, implement and consistently monitor Sales Goals, conduct performance reviews, and monitor performance management plans. Your role will involve holding the team accountable for sales activities, determining customer and activity priorities, and periodically reviewing customer account assignments. You will provide market feedback to management and vendors, participate in sales calls, and provide training and guidance to the inside & outside sales team. Additionally, you will coordinate strategic sales initiatives with other sales leaders and develop and manage relationships with select key general contractors, developers, owners, and architects. You will also help maintain vendor relationships and coordinate branch office visits, ensuring each sales engineer is in the best possible position to be successful while managing all human resources activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the other parts of the Hoffman Organization to leverage their skills and resources to better support efforts with our mutual clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years of direct industry sales and/or management experience and strong references required.
