About the position

Masonite, now part of Owens Corning, is seeking a dedicated sales professional to join our team in the Tampa, FL area. This position will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and the channel marketing team to develop and implement effective sales growth strategies aimed at increasing Masonite's market share within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will partner with retail customers to enhance relationships and target key contractors servicing the remodel market segments. This role requires independent judgment and creativity to drive new sales and optimize product mix based on point-of-sale (POS) analysis by territory and store. The successful candidate will ensure that all store Planogram (POG) layouts are set to maximize sales opportunities, leading in-store partnership activities to drive stock sales and sell-through on all products, including special buys, new product rollouts, and high-velocity SKU turns. Collaboration with the Pro Account Leader is essential to target, develop, and secure regional deals with contractors and remodelers, utilizing independent judgment and creativity to obtain these sales-related deals. The role also involves planning, promoting, and executing selling events and commercial partnership events that drive store share growth. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for quoting and closing large volume jobs to remodelers and contractors, thereby driving incremental sales volume at the store level. The focus will be on growing sales within the Millwork Department, Installed Sales, and the PRO desk through effective sales presentations, connections, and analytics tools, particularly targeting high-margin incremental opportunities. The role requires hunting down channels and outside store environments to convert professional remodelers to buy through the retail channel, ultimately driving additional foot traffic and sales volume for Masonite and our retail partners. The candidate will deliver impactful sales presentations to key store personnel, winning the mindshare of associates and growing Masonite's door market share within special orders at the store. Driving profitability through mix enhancements and upselling is a key accountability, as is managing in-store relationships with a focus on increased sales and pull-through down-channel activity. The candidate will also evaluate, monitor, and resolve store and customer service-related issues promptly, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
