About the position
The Area Sales Trainer - West for Abbott Neuromodulation is responsible for developing and implementing training programs and educational tools to support U.S. Customer Service, Field Personnel, and customers. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with corporate policies while enhancing the understanding of processes and customer experience excellence among trainees. The trainer will assess new hires' strengths and weaknesses in clinical, procedural, and business acumen, particularly in the chronic pain management industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for U.S. Customer Service and Field Personnel.
- Provide clear and concise information to trainees to enhance understanding of processes and customer experience.
- Monitor and update training requirements and records to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Deliver training sessions to meet customer requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze post-training data to ensure results meet organizational targets and implement remedial training as necessary.
- Coordinate training activities and make logistical arrangements for resources and tools required.
- Participate in goal and objective setting with the management team.
- Interact with customers to enhance training effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applied science, Bio-Medical, Engineering or related health field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Neuromodulation field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid understanding of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver effective training to both large and small audiences.
- Knowledge of presentation, training, and analysis software.
