Each property provides a unique and memorable stay for our guests. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Transient Sales Manager to drive transient sales from Corporate & Leisure segments across a number of properties under "The Collective" brand. This role is pivotal in building strong client relationships and exceeding revenue targets by showcasing the unique allure of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market, excellent sales skills and a proven track record of success in sales management. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to secure new corporate and leisure accounts while retaining existing ones for each property within the assigned region. You will build and maintain strong relationships with corporate travel managers, travel management companies, travel advisors, corporate accounts, event planners, and travel agencies. Conducting in-depth market research to identify and qualify new business opportunities and trends in the luxury hospitality industry will also be a key part of your role. Collaboration with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue from transient and group bookings is essential. You will negotiate and finalize contracts with corporate clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements, and manage a portfolio of assigned corporate and leisure accounts across multiple properties. Leading and mentoring on-property sales teams to ensure alignment with area sales goals and strategies will be part of your responsibilities, along with preparing regular sales reports and analysis to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights. Additionally, you will represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and generate new business while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for corporate clients and their travelers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership experience in handling VIP guests and leading sales teams.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and sales/CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrated accountability.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training; college graduate preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and/or leisure travel sales within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Prior experience with a multi-property role is preferred.
