About the position

The Area Vice President, Enterprise Sales at Zones LLC is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Field Account Executives focused on selling IT solutions to enterprise businesses across major U.S. cities. This role involves strategic leadership, performance management, and fostering relationships with clients to position Zones as a primary IT partner. The AVP will also engage in extensive travel to support their team and clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and day-to-day direction to Enterprise Field Account Executives, including pipeline and performance management.
  • Develop strategies and market plans to grow Zones' IT Professional and Managed Service offerings.
  • Foster a highly effective team by aligning efforts with business results through remote and in-person leadership.
  • Develop meaningful business relationships with client prospects and business partners at the executive level.
  • Apply knowledge of the technology resale and solution provider industry to identify key prospects and maximize partnerships.

Requirements

  • BA in Business or a related field.
  • 15+ years total sales experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • VAR/Channel sales experience strongly preferred; OEM sales experience acceptable if it includes channel sales.
