About the position

The Area Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational functions of hospice services within a designated region. This role involves leading the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care while managing costs. The position requires regular travel to various regional offices and collaboration with clinical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational policies and procedures for offices in the assigned territory.
• Direct and coordinate operational functions for offices within the region.
• Travel regularly to regional offices/branches to oversee operations.
• Work closely with clinical and operational teams to promote hospice services and ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field may be considered.
• Minimum of five years of healthcare managerial experience required.
• Unencumbered and active RN license in the state of residence if RN.
• Hospice or Home Care experience strongly preferred.
