About the position

The Arena Manager Production is responsible for overseeing all technical, hospitality, and ticketing requirements for events and artists at Boyd Gaming Corporation. This role involves coordinating with production teams, managing event logistics, and ensuring high-quality concert experiences while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical, hospitality, and ticketing requirements for incoming artists and events.
• Coordinate with tour and private production teams to obtain technical information and rider requirements.
• Oversee light and sound crew to ensure optimal concert effects.
• Manage day-of-show operations from load-in to load-out, adhering to schedules and budgets.
• Ensure all events are executed in a safe and professional manner.
• Lead and manage staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Train and evaluate team members during event setups and daily operations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, artist management, and clients.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Five years of experience in a similar role strongly preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift, bend, and twist throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Willingness to get certified to operate equipment such as forklifts and lifts.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain even-tempered.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and possible holidays.
• Knowledge of truss and power grids.
