About the position
The position involves providing exceptional customer service for Dynegy Energy, focusing on resolving customer inquiries related to billing, payment plans, and service options. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and respond to customer billing inquiries
- Resolve customer issues or questions
- Process payment deferrals and installment plans
- Attempt to save customers who may be moving or unhappy with their plan or current rate
- Quickly identify customer needs in the first few minutes of the call to offer the appropriate plan
- Accurately enroll the customer in the correct plan
- Strive to resolve customer issues on the first call
- Demonstrate knowledge of Dynegy processes and policies
- Build trust and rapport with customers through clear, respectful interaction
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction remains high while resolving issues
- Understand client call flow and state utility regulation
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and ability to show empathy to customers
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to take ownership and effectively address customer issues
- Willingness to strive for first-contact resolution
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Clear understanding of the English language and ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent computer literacy
